"You were the best father in the world." Anna Sedokova published her son's messages addressed to Janis Timme
Anna Sedokova, who was hospitalized with a nervous breakdown after the suicide of her ex-husband, Latvian basketball player Janis Timma, got in touch with her followers. In her social networks, she published messages from her 7-year-old son Hector from businessman Artem Komarov addressed to Timma.
The correspondence shows that the boy treated Janis like a father. “You died? But I still love you. I will always wear number 6. You were the best father in the world,” Hector writes. Before that, he sent Timma a bunch of heart emojis. 42-year-old Sedokova accompanied the post with an appeal to her deceased ex-husband: “How could you do this? You have children.” She called on fans to value their lives, at least for the sake of their loved ones.
Janis Timma committed suicide on the night of December 17, Anna Sedokova's birthday. The athlete was 32 years old. The basketball player had recently had many problems both in his personal life and at work: his marriage had broken up and he had financial difficulties. Before his death, he recorded voice messages for Sedokova and left a comment under her post on social media.
After the incident, many began to criticize the singer and accuse her of first ruining Timma's career and then leaving him. For example, Janis's former coach claimed that Anna "destroyed" him as a player, and his friend believes that Timma was "obsessed" with Sedokova.
Janis' first wife, Sana Osha, with whom he has a son, Christian, said that Sedokova had squandered the late basketball player's money. According to her, she was shocked that Timma had borrowed money and lived in a hostel before his death, because after breaking up with her he was a millionaire. Osha had previously sued Timma for child support debts for their son. To pay them, as Mash writes, Janis had borrowed 1 million rubles from Sedokova before his death. Anna herself called on the public not to believe people who comment on her marriage to Timma in the media: "Real friends are now grieving and offering condolences to their mother, and not giving interviews."
The basketball player's funeral has already taken place in Riga. Anna Sedokova missed the ceremony.
