"My Wife and I Grew Up in Working Class Families." Ryan Reynolds Opens Up About Raising Kids
Actor Raina Reynolds, 48, has shared his struggles with raising four children, trying to give them a normal life despite their more privileged background.
"My wife and I grew up in working-class families, and I remember when the kids were little, I would often think or say, 'Oh my god, I never had presents like this when I was a kid,' or 'I never had the luxury of ordering takeout,'" Ryan Reynolds told The Hollywood Reporter.
Later, the actor realized that children should not bear the burden of their parents' worries: "Now I realized that this is not their concern. They already have a strong sense of empathy. I think that if our children can empathize with other people and children, then we are doing everything right."
Blake has previously admitted in interviews that raising children is not an easy task. Ryan Reynolds supports his wife, and last year even said that he wanted to take a break from his acting career to spend more time with his children.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been together for 13 years and have four daughters: James, Ines, Betty and Olin.
