"The Merit of the Wife." Yura Borisov Made a Touching Confession About His Spouse
At the Peopletalk awards, 31-year-old Yura Borisov admitted that all his achievements are thanks to his wife Anna.
The Telegram channel "Not the last people in the city" quotes a short dialogue with Yura, in which he notes his wife's merits: "I am sure that all these great film achievements are the merit of my wife! He says: "Absolutely."
Yura Borisov became especially famous after the success of the film "Anora", which won the "Golden Palm" at the Cannes Film Festival this year. In the film, he played the role of Igor, a bodyguard of the son of a Russian oligarch. Director Sean Baker admitted that he wrote the role especially for Borisov and Mikey Madison. After the release of the film, Borisov and the leading actor Mark Eidelstein began to appear on the covers of glossy magazines. Several well-known publications reported that Yura Borisov would be among the contenders for the Oscar.
Borisov also recently won a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award and was nominated for a Golden Globe later that day.
Anna Shevchuk and Yuri Borisov met when they were studying together in the same year at the theater institute. The couple got married in 2014 and are now raising two daughters, Marfa and Akulina.
