"She doesn't want a 'mixed' Christmas." Deborah Lee Furness doesn't want Hugh Jackman to introduce his kids to his new girlfriend
The ex-wife of 56-year-old Hugh Jackman, 69-year-old Deborah Lee Furness, does not want the actor to introduce their children, 24-year-old Oscar and 19-year-old Ava, to his new lover, 49-year-old actress Sutton Foster, at Christmas. This was reported by RadarOnline, citing insiders.
According to insiders, the actress does not want a "blended" family Christmas. "It's a delicate matter. And if anyone is going to spend less time with the kids this year, it's him."
Deborah is also angry that she was the last to know about her husband's affair. According to the source, his friends Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively knew about it, but did not tell her.
"They kept their mouths shut out of loyalty to Hugh. Now Deborah is seething with rage at being the last to know, Deb feels blindsided."
Earlier, rumors appeared online that Jackman's affair began during their marriage, and that Deborah filed for divorce when she found out about it. Furness recently indirectly confirmed them: she liked a blogger's post, which suggested that the actor "ran away from his unsuspecting wife with his mistress." Furness' friend commented on the same post: "You hit the nail on the head."
Sutton herself was also married at the time she began her affair with Jackman, with whom she starred in the Broadway musical The Music Man, but had previously filed for divorce.
Last September, Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness announced their divorce by mutual consent, adding that family would always remain a priority in their lives.
