'Her worst nightmare': Adele may end her career due to illness

36-year-old singer Adele may end her career due to a serious illness: she suffers from an ear infection that may relapse and completely deprive her of her voice. This was reported by RadarOnline.com, citing insiders.

"This is Adele's worst nightmare. Her voice is everything to her. This infection could affect her entire career," says the insider.

Adele previously said that she partially lost her hearing while battling an infection. The treatment lasted for two months. Adele noted that the pain was worse than during childbirth: "I took the wrong antibiotics for several days, but eventually the doctors managed to prescribe me one that started to work. I wanted to cut my ear off several times!" she told The Sun.

Adele has previously spoken about anxiety amid her divorce from her ex-husband and her problems with alcohol. The singer has had to lose weight due to her numerous health problems.
