The internet is buzzing about the latest public appearance of Nita Ambani, the wife of Asia's richest man Mukesh Ambani. Nita, 60, showed up at the opening of the Tira cosmetics flagship store in Mumbai, which is headed by her daughter Isha, and made a splash with her handbag - a Chanel minaudière from the fall-winter 2024/25 collection. Although the website states that the price of the accessory is "upon request", it costs almost $30,000.

The Chanel faux-material bag features pink enamel with the words "Pop Coco" (a play on both the brand's founder Coco Chanel and the word "popcorn") and is topped with a faux pearl and gold-tone metal body. The Popcorn minaudière measures 16 x 11 cm and has one compartment that can hold small items like keys, a few cards, or lipstick—an iPhone won't fit in there.
