'It was a boy': Miranda Kerr reveals she suffered a miscarriage after giving birth to her son with Orlando Bloom
Miranda Kerr revealed on the Not Alone podcast that she suffered a miscarriage after giving birth to her eldest son, Flynn, with Orlando Bloom. According to the 41-year-old model, who now has four children, she was having a boy.
"I actually had a miscarriage and it was a boy," she said.
She noted that she was "naive" during her first pregnancy, but became more "aware" with each subsequent birth. "I tend to worry a little more about things going wrong."
Miranda also recalled the death of her first boyfriend, who died in a car accident. "My boyfriend died when I was a teenager. If he hadn't, I would be happily married and living the life I have now. It was a real shock to me that he died so suddenly. It was a lesson in not taking anything for granted in life," she said.
She had previously admitted that she had named her son after him. "After he died, I wrote him a letter saying that I hoped to name my first child after him."
