"I felt like I was in a sacred place." Sati Kazanova spoke about her unusual birth and motherhood
42-year-old Sati Kazanova, who recently became a mother for the first time, told StarHit in an interview how her "lotus birth" went, for which she faced criticism, and how she feels in the role of a mother.
"The birth was wonderful, velvety, soft. It was so beautiful that my husband felt like we were not in a hospital maternity ward, but in a temple. We had wonderful obstetricians and gynecologists. Even without my asking, they bought flowers, candles, essential oils. The lights were dimmed. They filled a huge bathtub with water for me, and it really eased the contractions. It all looked magical. And although I had no time for aesthetics, I felt like I was in a sacred place. There were no surprises, everything went smoothly. It seems that I am one of those women in labor who, even before leaving the hospital, say: "I want to come back for a second one." I left with exactly that feeling."
According to Sati, her husband Stefano Tiozzo was very supportive. "He supported me so much throughout my pregnancy. I knew for the entire seven years of our journey together that I could rely on him. But a person is known in unusual situations."
According to Casanova, her condition has not yet returned to normal: she even stayed in the clinic longer than expected. "To be honest, I didn't even expect that after giving birth it would be like this. It's a strange condition: physically, it's as if I haven't returned to my body, as if it's on hinges, a little bit falling apart. Of course, there's constant lack of sleep - at night I get up at least three times to feed the baby. I know that we'll gradually establish a routine, but in the coming months I'm definitely going to be in this cocoon with my daughter. And then we'll gradually and carefully begin to socialize."
She also told how they chose the name for the baby: the singer is keeping it a secret for now. "The name was chosen according to the date and time of birth, the position of the planets and nakshatras (those who understand astrology understand that this is important). It was important for us that the name had meaning, that it corresponded to the time and circumstances of birth. The name should be a lucky star for the baby, and not just a beautiful combination of letters or words heard in some TV series."
After Sati Kazanova became a mother, the Internet began to discuss the dangers of the popularity of "lotus birth": in this case, the umbilical cord is not cut, but they wait until it dries up and falls off. This has already been commented on in the State Duma: deputy Tatyana Butskaya called on women "to pay less attention to the advice of celebrities and not to follow their every step."
In addition to the unusual birth, Sati has previously been criticized for her late pregnancy. Sati Casanova and her husband are also followers of Swami Vishwananda, a Hindu guru from the island of Mauritius, and Sati practices and teaches yoga.
