The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey splits with boyfriend months after son's birth
The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey and her boyfriend, rapper DDG, have split after three years of dating. The couple had a son, Halo, in December last year. The 26-year-old artist announced the split on his Instagram*.
"After much thought and heartfelt conversations, Holly and I have decided to separate. This was not an easy decision, but we are confident that this is the best path for both of us. Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true," the rapper wrote. The 24-year-old actress has not yet commented on the breakup. Just two weeks ago, the couple went out with their son.
Halle Bailey gained fame thanks to her role as Ariel in the remake of The Little Mermaid. Even during filming, the actress faced bullying from fans of the original cartoon. Many did not like the fact that a black actress was chosen for the adaptation of the cult fairy tale. Last October, it became known that the actress was expecting her first child. The couple's son was born in December 2023.
