Kate Middleton makes first public appearance with Prince William since completing chemotherapy
Kate Middleton has returned to public life after completing chemotherapy. The Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, met with cancer patient Liz Hutton, which Kate shared on Instagram*.
In January, Liz was diagnosed with desmoplastic small round cell tumor, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Despite the disappointing prognosis of doctors, the girl continues treatment and pursues her favorite hobby - photography.
"It was a pleasure meeting Liz today in Windsor. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us," Kate captioned the photos of the 16-year-old and her family. For the meeting, the Princess of Wales chose a burgundy trouser suit and matching earrings.
Recall that in March of this year, 42-year-old Kate Middleton announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Before that, the royal family member spoke about an abdominal operation and disappeared from the media, which gave rise to numerous conspiracy theories. In early September, the princess completed a course of chemotherapy and is gradually returning to her royal duties. It is expected that she will work a reduced schedule and will appear at several events until the end of this year.
