"Did you really not know about the upcoming provocation?" Vladislav Bakalchuk was released after interrogation and addressed his wife
Wildberries co-founder Vladislav Bakalchuk, who was detained after a shooting near the marketplace office, was released. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
“I deeply regret that my attempt to resolve the situation peacefully and meet with Tatyana in the office of my own company turned into a tragedy,” Vladislav said. He claims that on September 18, he and his team became victims of a “cynical provocation and attack by unknown armed individuals” in the Wildberries office. According to Bakalchuk, he came to the office “with peaceful intentions” to resolve various work issues, including those related to the merger with Russ, and “acted exclusively within the law.”
He also addressed his wife, who announced in July that she was divorcing him. “Tatyana, did you really not know about the armed provocation being prepared against me? Or did the Mirzoyan brothers, with whom you contacted and simply gave them 35% of shares in our company Wildberries, not consider it necessary to inform you that they were preparing an assassination attempt on me? Who hired these armed men and what were they doing in our office? I am sure that law enforcement agencies will sort this out. I am at home. I am in shock. But the Truth is on my side. Let justice prevail!” Vladislav said.
It is reported that investigators released Vladislav after questioning. His procedural status is currently unknown. Let us recall that on September 18, Vladislav Bakalchuk came to the Wildberries office with his security guards, and a conflict with shooting began, as a result of which two people were killed, and another 7 people were injured. Tatyana Bakalchuk called this an attempt at a raider takeover by Vladislav and accused him of the death of the young people.
Later, Bakalchuk was charged under five articles: murder, attempted murder of two or more persons, arbitrariness, attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, and illegal possession of firearms. Vladislav Bakalchuk was taken away for questioning and did not contact anyone for several days. It was assumed that he would be arrested after his detention, but this did not happen. According to a TASS source in law enforcement, Bakalchuk's home was searched on September 20. Meanwhile, the number of people arrested in the criminal case on the attack on the Wildberries office has grown to 30 people, with a total of 33 defendants in the case, Kommersant writes.
In addition, it is reported that several thousand people gathered at the Magas airport in Ingushetia to meet the plane with the bodies of the deceased Wildberries office guards Islam Elmurziev and Adam Almazov. A source in the local Ministry of Internal Affairs says that a serious risk of interethnic conflict is forming in the republic.
