"Any mother will understand." Milla Jovovich explained why she hasn't been in touch for a long time
Actress Milla Jovovich, who recently suddenly deleted almost all of her social media posts, explained on Instagram* why she did it.
Milla, 48, says she has been asked many times what happened and has now decided to explain: "The short version is I've done two films and the third one might be out before Christmas. We've moved and that's been a lot of work. But more than anything I'm trying to be part of my community. I've been focusing on being the best unpaid driver for my kids, juggling school and dance, music, gymnastics and martial arts. I've been crazy busy, any mum will understand."
Milla Jovovich also noted that at 48, she had changed so much that she needed to start from scratch to become herself again: "I did a lot of stretching and deep breathing techniques to cope with stress, and frankly, social media only added to it. You need content all the time, but I've had enough."
Milla says she's lost a lot of followers because she took a long break, but she's okay with it because she's enjoying the time she has now: "Here's a quick recap of my summer. Made a lot of paper dolls for my little ones. Had a great time with family, dad lets the girls dress him up and do his hair. My oldest got a black belt in taekwondo and is learning jiu jitsu."
Milla Jovovich noted that she does not stand still, but is constantly busy: she cooks, works, tries to relax and enjoy the time she spends with her family and friends.
Let us recall that the actress is married to director Paul Anderson. They have three children: 16-year-old Ever, nine-year-old Dashiel and four-year-old Oshin. According to Milla Jovovich herself, children and sports saved her from prolonged depression.
