P. Diddy arrested on human trafficking charges
Rapper P. Diddy (real name Sean Combs) has been arrested on human trafficking charges, TMZ reports. As journalists learned, Combs was detained at a Manhattan hotel and taken to the FBI headquarters.
A source told the publication that authorities had planned to arrest Combs on Tuesday, but "something happened that caused" officials to take him into custody earlier than planned.
P. Diddy is accused of pimping, sexual assault, soliciting prostitution, and distributing illegal substances and firearms. His homes in the US were recently raided.
Previously, the rapper's neighbors said that P. Diddy's house regularly hosts dubious parties: many black men come to them, and they also bring girls in bathing suits. According to the eyewitness, P. Diddy himself has not been seen with women.
He was also previously accused of sex trafficking by Adria English, known in the porn industry as Omunique. She said she first met P. Diddy around 2004, when her boyfriend auditioned for a modeling gig with Sean Combs. Adria was scheduled to dance at P. Diddy's 2004 Labor Day party in the Hamptons, and over time, she says, she was drugged and pressured into having sex with guests.
These are not the only accusations against the rapper: he is also accused of violence. In relation to his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura. She filed a lawsuit against him and stated that P. Diddy had been abusing her for more than ten years: he introduced her "to a lifestyle that involves excessive alcohol and drug use." In turn, the rapper accused the girl of extortion: allegedly, she demanded 30 million dollars from him. Later, they entered into a peace agreement.
Recently, however, a video of him beating up Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel went viral. The video was filmed back in 2016, but was recently released by CNN. P. Diddy initially remained silent, but later recorded a video apology.
