Star of the TV series "Peace! Friendship! Chewing gum!" and "The King and the Jester" Evgeny Tkachuk detained on suspicion of drug trafficking
Theater and film actor Yevgeny Tkachuk was detained at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport. According to preliminary information, he is suspected of transporting prohibited substances.
As reported by the SHOT Telegram channel, the 40-year-old star was stopped at pre-flight inspection today at about seven in the morning. They found a smoking pipe and a hidden package with unknown contents. Since Tkachuk could not clearly explain what was in the package, he was detained, and the find was sent for examination. At the moment, Evgeny continues to communicate with the police.
Evgeny Tkachuk is known for his roles in the TV series “Quiet Flows the Don”, “The King and the Jester”, “Peace! Friendship! Chew!”, as well as in the film “How Vitka Chesnok Took Lyokha Shtyr to the Nursing Home”. He is the founder of the private equestrian drama theater “VelesO”, in whose performances horses play together with professional actors.
