Kate Moss's sister hospitalized after Ozempic overdose
Supermodel Kate Moss's half-sister Lottie was taken to hospital after taking Ozempic to lose weight: The 26-year-old took too much of the diabetes drug, which was bought under the counter. She suffered a "dehydration-induced seizure" and was taken away by ambulance.
Lottie recalls in her podcast that it was one of the "scariest experiences" she has ever had. At the hospital, she learned that the dose of the drug she had taken was for people weighing at least 100 kilograms, while she weighed only 60. According to Lottie, she wished she had known all these nuances before taking the drug. She added that after taking Ozempic, her weight dropped to 53 kilograms.
"A few months ago I was unhappy with my weight and I had a friend who decided to help me lose weight," Lottie said. She urged everyone to be careful with the drug and not take it. "This is a warning to everyone. Please, if you are thinking about taking it, don't, it's not worth it."
Lottie Moss followed in her sister's footsteps and tried her hand at modeling, working with the same modeling agency that Kate worked with. Lottie later decided to give up modeling after, she says, feeling like her life was being controlled, and decided to try her hand at OnlyFans, a platform where users earn money from their nude photos.
She says she doesn't communicate with her older sister Lottie now. "My sister and I were never close. There's a big age difference between us (Lottie is 25, Kate is 49. — Ed.). When I was growing up, Kate didn't help us with money. We had a tiny two-bedroom house, and my parents were bankrupt. I paid for my own private school with the money I earned from modeling," she said.
Interestingly, Lottie was previously suspected of having an affair with Leonardo DiCaprio, who also previously dated Kate.
