Selena Gomez hits the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival in a dramatic look
Selena Gomez, who recently admitted in an interview that she would not be able to carry a child on her own, walked the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival to present the film "Emilia Perez."
Selena, 32, chose a dramatic black Saint Laurent dress with a peplum and a flower-shaped embellishment for the outing. In the film, the actress played the wife of a drug cartel leader who decides to change her gender to escape justice.
This is the first film in which Selena Gomez speaks Spanish. She says she was very nervous about it. At the film's premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year, Selena burst into tears when the film received a standing ovation for several minutes. The film won the Jury Prize and the actresses who starred in it won awards for Best Actress.
It should be noted that not long ago Selena gave an interview in which she admitted that she would not be able to carry a child on her own due to health problems (she was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus) and stated that she was ready to resort to the help of a surrogate mother. Now she plans to marry her boyfriend Benny Blanco, but is in no hurry. Selena admitted that she had never been as happy with anyone as with Blanco, because she had never felt so loved before. It also became known that Selena became a billionaire thanks to her cosmetics line.
