Mother of quad biker girl files police report against Mia Boyka for insulting her daughter
The mother of eight-year-old Maryana, who was recently publicly condemned on stage by Mia Boyka for her passion for quad-banging, accused the singer of insulting her daughter and filed a police report. This was reported by the Shot Telegram channel.
According to the girl's mother, after what happened, the girl can't do without a psychologist. She was so upset that she stopped going out and "spends her last warm days at home" because she is afraid of experiencing public humiliation again. Her parents support their daughter's hobby and don't see anything wrong with it. Maryana is growing up in a large family (they have five children), she dances, wrestles, and plays the piano. Yesterday it became known that the girl will be hired a psychologist to protect her from bullying by friends and classmates.
Let us recall that it all started when Mia Boyka invited one of the girls on stage at a concert in Nadym and asked her about her hobby. When the girl replied that she was a quad biker, the singer said: "Oh, these quad bikers. I thought it was a fairy tale. It turned out that it exists." The girl was clearly upset and could hardly hold back her tears. The video of this fragment of the concert was widely distributed on the Internet and caused a public outcry. Many wrote comments in support of the girl, and Yegor Creed recorded a video on TikTok. In it, he stated that he is against any public condemnation, especially if it concerns children with a fragile psyche. The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, also spoke out in defense of the girl, calling it "a pathetic attempt to assert herself at the expense of a child."
Mia Boyka herself, apparently, is not going to apologize to the girl. First, she addressed quad bikers and their parents in her Telegram channel and said that she does not accept a reality in which being "an adequate person is no longer cool, and those who have the courage to call a spade a spade are considered tactless and ill-mannered." After that, she recorded a video in which she said that she came up with a new trend - "hobbystoneing", the essence of which is to pretend to be stones.
