Pavel Durov charged with 12 crimes
Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who was arrested in Paris on August 24, has been charged with 12 crimes, most of them cybercrimes, the press service of the Paris prosecutor's office reported.
The charges include: failure to cooperate with authorities, complicity in the possession and distribution of pornographic images of minors, complicity in the acquisition, transportation, storage, sale or transfer of narcotics, complicity in fraud as part of an organized group, laundering of crimes by an organized criminal group, and the use of cryptocurrency instruments.
