Jennifer Lopez Officially Files for Divorce from Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez, 55, has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, 52. She did so on August 20, their wedding anniversary, DailyMail reports. The legal documents state the separation date is April 26, 2024.
It is specified that the couple does not have a marriage contract. At the same time, according to insiders, the reason for their separation was allegedly a conflict over money.
The couple has not lived together for a long time, and on Lopez's birthday Affleck bought a new house. According to insiders, this was a "blow to the heart" for Jennifer and marked the "end of the relationship."
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were engaged in 2002 but called off the engagement. The couple married in 2022, having rekindled their relationship a year before their wedding.
Rumors of the couple's divorce appeared several months ago.
