Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo Marries Football Player Christian McCaffrey
Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo has married American football player Christian McCaffrey, whom she dated for about five years.
The wedding took place in Olivia's home state of Rhode Island, 32, which she represented at the Miss USA pageant. The bride walked down the aisle in a Dolce & Gabbana gown with a scoop neckline, long sleeves, and a buttoned back. She also wore a traditional lace-trimmed veil that was nearly five meters long. The groom, 28, wore a classic black suit.
According to Olivia, she didn’t want her look to be associated with sex in any form. “I wanted to feel free, so that the dress would highlight my assets, but not overwhelm me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity in that,” Culpo told Vogue, adding that her boyfriend finds her especially beautiful in such timeless, modest, and elegant outfits.
Rumors of a romance between Olivia and Christian emerged in May 2019, and the couple announced their engagement in April 2023.
