Con artist Anna Delvey wants to use her court appearance as a fashion show

Con-woman Anna Delvey's PR consulting firm, OutLaw Agency, is using her upcoming court appearance as a fashion presentation for its client, SHAO New York. She will wear a special look created for the occasion, Page Six reports.

Last year, the swindler, together with business legend Kelly Cutrone, opened the OutLaw Agency consulting company, which deals with fashion PR. Soon, as part of Fashion Week, they staged a show for the Shao New York atelier on the roof of Anna Delvey's apartment in the East Village. Delvi was under house arrest at the time, so she was able to attend the event.

The second event that the agency will organize for the same studio will be an upcoming immigration hearing in one of the New York courtrooms. At the meeting, they will consider the issue of her bail of 10 thousand dollars, lifting the ban on the use of social networks and the conditions of house arrest. Anna Delvey will reportedly style him in a high-waisted black twill SHAO New York suit with a high-slit pencil skirt and a white cotton button-down shirt with a silk velvet bow tie. The sketches of the look also include a black electronic house arrest bracelet on the ankle.

This is not the first time Anna Delvey has used the courtroom as a kind of podium: when her trial for fraud began, she used the services of a stylist, and once refused to attend her own hearing because designer clothes were not delivered to her cell on time.

Let us remember that Anna Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokina, for some time quite successfully posed as a wealthy trust fund heiress, despite the fact that her father was a truck driver in Germany, and her mother worked as an administrator in a store. Anna Delvey in New York defrauded friends of large sums of money, and then tried to take out a large loan to open her own gallery in the city center. In 2019, she was charged with attempted theft of a large sum of money, failure to pay for services, and the theft of $200,000 from banks, luxury hotels, restaurants, individuals, and a private airline operator. The court sentenced her to 4 to 12 years in prison, but in 2021 she was released early for good behavior. Since October 2023, Anna Delvey has been under house arrest and lives in Manhattan. Now she faces deportation to Germany.

The TV series “Inventing Anna” was filmed about Anna Delvey. It was released on Netflix, was nominated for three Emmy awards, and Anna Sorokina herself received $320 thousand after its release. This money was sent to those who suffered from her actions. Nevertheless, she was able to earn money while in prison by selling her sketches - the drawings brought her several hundred thousand dollars.
