Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron met with Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene
In Paris, at the Elysee Palace, an official meeting took place between French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron with Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene.
Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron congratulated Prince Albert II and presented him with the insignia of Commander of the Order of Merit in the Field of Agriculture in the presence of Princess Charlene and their children, nine-year-old Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
46-year-old Princess Charlene chose a powder pink check trouser suit for the meeting, and 71-year-old Brigitte Macron wore a black coat and tight trousers.
Last August, the press began to write that Princess Charlene lives in Switzerland and “meets with her husband as scheduled.” They spent the summer holidays on a yacht with their children, but after that there were rumors that the princess did not return to the palace and remained living abroad.
After these messages, the spouses began to appear together in public more often - more often than before. The press estimated that they went out together eight times in nine days, probably to show that everything was in order in their family life. Princess Charlene even tried to smile, although before that the press called her “the saddest princess in the world.”
At the end of November last year, the Prince and Princess of Monaco appeared together at a gala concert in honor of the country's National Day, and for Christmas they released an official card with a family portrait.
