The network is discussing Guram Gvasalia's new appearance with Doja Cat in a “naked” image a la Bianca Censori
Guram Gvasalia and Doja Cat made a lot of noise online by walking around New York together and having lunch at McDonald's. All because of the singer's unusual look - she wore a bandeau, a miniskirt and shoes created using adhesive tape and leaving little room for imagination.
But the point is not so much in the “naked” image itself, but in the fact that it was apparently inspired by the style of the newly-minted fashion trendsetter Bianca Censori. Doja Cat has previously been accused of following Bianca's lead: first, she came to a social event in tights worn over underwear and a voluminous fur coat, and then staged an Instagram-style home photo shoot* Kanye West, who likes to post photos of his wife in revealing outfits.
Russian Telegram channels are actively discussing photos and videos of Guram and Doja Cat that have gone viral online. “Guram Gvasalia doesn’t have $3,000 tape at Vetements like his brother Demna does. So he wrapped rapper Doja Cat in a kilogram of regular duct tape. Apparently, he got the idea to customize Louboutins with tape from Kanye’s wife. Perhaps, this shocking naked trend can be closed,” they wrote in the telegram channel “Only to anyone.”
“To deny that Kanye West is a genius is simply pointless. At first everyone laughed and condemned Bianchi’s style (we understand who invented it), but now literally everyone repeats it. Here you go, Guram wrapped Doja Cat in tape, tied shoes to her feet and went out into the world with her. Let me remind you that Kanye’s wife wore something like this,” they said on the Shmot telegram channel.
“I wonder if Guram will be able to do something of his own/really original at least once in his life, or will he continue to take other people’s ideas/vibes?” asked the question on the Pechenyushki&Co telegram channel.
It is noteworthy that earlier Guram Gvasalia accused Kanye West of plagiarism. Kanye West's Yeezy brand has released shoes very similar to the Vetements creation.
