Rihanna regrets dressing too revealingly in the past
The other day, Rihanna attended a party to celebrate the presentation of sneakers that her Fenty brand released together with Puma. On the red carpet, the singer spoke with a Vogue reporter and admitted that she regrets some of the outfits in which she once appeared.
According to the artist, motherhood made her think about her past images, which now seem too frank to her. “I've done so much crap in my life. I showed up in public with my nipples out and my panties out. Now that I'm a mother and a more mature person, although I'm still young, I don't think I would ever allow myself to do that again. Sometimes I think, “Oh my God, did I seriously do this? Showed everyone your nipples?”.
Recall that Rihanna became a mother for the first time in May 2022. She gave birth to a son, RZA (pronounced Riza), with rapper A$AP Rocky. A little later, in August 2023, the couple had another son, who was named Riot Rose Myers. During both pregnancies, the singer delighted fans with frequent and colorful appearances. She has repeatedly shown her open belly to the public and said that she wants to change the way society perceives pregnant women, who, in her opinion, also have the right to dress stylishly.
Rihanna may have truly reconsidered her approach to fashion, but for now she still faces criticism for her looks. Thus, Rihanna was recently accused of insulting religion because of a photo shoot for Interview magazine, in which she appeared as a nun. And a little later she was noticed in an unusual outfit, which, apparently, was inspired by the eccentric style of Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori: its main detail was Balenciaga mesh tights.
