Alain Delon was assigned “enhanced guardianship” and was prohibited from disposing of property
Alain Delon's three children - Anthony, Anoushka and Alain-Fabien - joined forces for the first time in several months and demanded that enhanced guardianship be established over their father. Their request was granted in court.
88-year-old French actor Alain Delon was placed under judicial protection back in January, in part due to issues related to “his medical care.” This measure has now been changed to “enhanced guardianship.” This decision is “designed to protect an adult and his property when he is in a difficult situation and needs help,” March reports.
This measure means that Delon will be assigned a curator who will manage his finances and also act on his behalf in the event of a conflict of interest. It is not yet clear who exactly will perform this task, but usually such a person is selected from among the relatives of the ward. Here the situation is complicated by the fact that all three of Alain Delon’s children - Anthony, Anushka and Alain-Fabien Delon - have been quarreling with him for a long time, and his nurse Hiromi Rolland, who calls herself his chosen one, is accused of abusive behavior.
A petition for enhanced guardianship was filed by the children of Alain Delon; this petition was granted on Thursday, April 4, 2024, by the defense judge at the Montargis court. It is unknown whether the 88-year-old actor was able to speak in court in connection with this case. 
It should be noted that in January, Alain Delon’s son Anthony Delon said in an interview with Paris Match magazine that his father was finding it difficult to come to terms with his deteriorating health. Anthony said this could be his father's last Christmas. This caused indignation among the actor himself, and he threatened to sue his own son.
Alain Delon's health worsened in 2019 when he suffered a stroke. Since then, he has hardly left his estate in Duchy in the French Loire region. His family is concerned about his relationship with his nurse, Hiromi Rolland. She claimed that she had a close relationship with the actor, but Alain Delon’s children accused her of an abusive relationship and had her evicted from the actor’s estate. In response, she also made accusations against the actor’s children: according to her, they used violence against her “with aggravating circumstances, which was confirmed by the results of a medical examination.” Her lawyer, Yassin Bouzrou, also argued that Alain Delon’s guards took part in the incident.
