Gwyneth Paltrow on the role of stepmother. “It’s not easy to get used to someone other than your own children.”
Recently, 51-year-old Gwyneth Paltrow became an invited guest at the Visionary Women summit dedicated to International Women's Day. The Goop founder asked the former US ambassador to the Bahamas how she manages to be a "stepmother to two wonderful children, Tony and Sarah." After the answer, the star herself also admitted that it was not easy for her to accept her status as a stepmother and get used to not being with “her children.” “This is truly a difficult path. But I really like to talk about it, because it is one of my most important human achievements. And I would not have been able to grow as a person if it weren’t for my difficult relationships with my adopted children, and now they are like family,” said Gwyneth.
Paltrow has two children with ex-husband Chris Martin (daughter Apple and son Moses), and she is also raising the children of director and American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk - 19-year-old Isabella and 17-year-old Brody. Paltrow and Falchuk got married in 2018. 
"When you start raising stepchildren, you need to literally be the sun - just give without expecting anything in return. Thanks to Isabella and Brody, I learned to shine like the sun and never count," she added.

The Fifty Shades of Gray star and the 47-year-old Coldplay frontman have been together since 2017. The actress gets along well with the musician’s children from Gwyneth Paltrow and with the star himself.
