Al Pacino's girlfriend showed their son for the first time in a photo shoot for Vogue
Al Pacino's girlfriend, 30-year-old Noor Alfalla, first showed a photo of their son Roman, who was born last summer. The beloved of the 84-year-old Italian actor posed for Arabic Vogue with the heir and said in an interview that Al Pacino’s child is her main gift.
Noor Alfalla is a producer and has a master's degree in film production. She recently premiered her first film, A Little Death, which explores America's opioid crisis and its consequences, at Sundance and plans to promote it at Cannes. While Al Pacino is working on the set, Alfalla took care of their son Roman. She lives with her baby in her new villa and tries to combine caring for him with everyday work.
"When he's sleeping, that's my time. I can read a script, watch a TV show, or just be myself. When he's awake, I want to be there, I want to be present," Noor said.
Despite the birth of her first child, which came as a complete surprise to the artist’s beloved (and himself), Alfalla does not plan to pause her career, as she is just beginning her journey into the film industry. "When I get up, I go straight to my phone and email. I don't work five days a week, I work 24/7. I wish I was the kind of person who would wait until Monday morning."
Nour told how she managed to get close to Al Pacino and become more than just friends. The couple first met at a social dinner several years ago and chatted throughout the evening. "I thought it was cool. I thought, wow, this is Al Pacino. I went to film school, so I wasn't stupid about who he was. He's a very talented and unique person. But I had no idea to think that one day he will be the father of my son." That evening they did not exchange phone numbers and met by chance only a year later.
“Then the pandemic hit,” Alfalla recalls. "Al lives down the street from my house, and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like film school with Al Pacino." Of their friendship, she says, "I think it just became something more."
Many fans of the artist are concerned about the significant age difference between the lovers. Alfalla noted that she feels comfortable in the company of people of mature age, so their difference with Al Pacino at 54 years old does not bother her in any way. “I was born in the wrong generation,” says Noor. "I've been an old soul all my life. I have friends who are 70 years old; men and women who I just really like, who I'd rather be around than people my age. I've always been like that. I don't know why . I think I like the wisdom, the experience, the life in them. It attracts me."
