"The Sopranos" star Drea de Matteo paid off her mortgage by making money on OnlyFans
52-year-old actress Drea de Matteo, who is known for her appearance on The Sopranos, told the Daily Mail that OnlyFans “saved her life.” During the pandemic, the star found herself without work. Suddenly, she discovered that she only had $10 left in her bank account. The situation worsened so much that the actress could lose her only home.
“I urgently needed to try to sell the house before it was taken away. At the same time, I lost my mother, my relatives ran out of all their money, I just didn’t know where to go,” recalls Matteo.
Then Drea registered on an adult site. Just five minutes after publishing candid photos, she earned enough money to pay off her mortgage.
Matteo admitted that at first she didn’t want to participate in the risky venture at all, but has since changed her attitude towards the site: “These shots created a stir on social networks, my story went viral, people went crazy. Although the original idea was my podcast with a guy on explicit topics, but in the end we did a photo shoot."
The actress noted that she does not pay attention to criticism and considers her decision absolutely correct: “Anyone who wants to judge and humiliate me, do so. I hope that you will never find yourself in the position that I found myself in, taking care of two little children."
OnlyFans helped the actress not only pay off her debts, but also launch her own clothing brand, ULTRAFREE. The collections are inspired by the style of her son Waylon.
The star, along with her ex-husband Shooter Jennings, has two children: 16-year-old daughter Alabama and 12-year-old son Waylon.
