Drug addict, married, going through a breakup: Sharon Stone shared her experience of unsuccessful dates
Sharon Stone, who turned 65 last year, shared her experience of unsuccessful dating in an interview with The Times. The actress really wants to find love and meets men in various ways, including through dating apps, but not all meetings with candidates for her heart go smoothly.
So, one day the actress met at the Bel-Air hotel with a man who turned out to be a drug addict. “He looked 20 thousand doses of heroin worse than in the photo he sent me,” Sharon said, admitting that she could not even politely communicate with the man for a while. After she ordered water for herself and her companion some kind of absinthe-based drink, the “Basic Instinct” star apologized and left.
For two other men with whom Stone communicated virtually during the coronavirus pandemic, she acted as a psychologist. One of them was told by his wife that she wanted a divorce, and the couple had two small children. Another was experiencing a breakup with his girlfriend - she accidentally became pregnant and, instead of getting married, decided to have an abortion. “He still loved her very much, and I helped him deal with it. In fact, it was beneficial for both of us,” recalls Sharon in an interview.
The actress noted that in general she does not have much luck with men; she is called on dates either by former prisoners or simply by socially awkward people. But Stone doesn’t blame anyone for this: “When you’re lonely at that age, there’s usually a reason for it. I think I have it too.” However, Sharon believes that she will still meet her betrothed. “This is the year I want to fall in love, one hundred percent,” she said. On dating apps, the star hopes to find someone with whom she will have a real connection, and for sex, she believes, it is not necessary to register on Tinder, just go to the nearest coffee shop.
Last fall, Sharon Stone told People how filming Basic Instinct brought out her “dark side.”
