Kanye West owes $1 million to taxes
Kanye West, apparently, decided to follow the path of some Russian bloggers and ended up owing the US Tax Administration $1 million. The Daily Mail reports this.
Most of the debt is tax liens from his Yeezy brand, as well as interest on penalties for not paying taxes from 2021 to 2022. In addition, he did not pay taxes on two properties in Calabasas that he bought with ex-wife Kim Kardashian in 2017 and 2018: a house for $2.2 million and an apartment for $1.6 million. At the same time, the rapper stopped being a billionaire last year, having lost many contracts amid anti-Semitic scandals and his controversial behavior.
Recently, Kanye West has become one of the most talked about people due to numerous scandals surrounding him. Most are associated with his new wife Bianca Censori, who has already become famous for her half-naked looks that the rapper selects for her. The day before, he promised that in the new year Bianca would “go without pants.”
Previously, he also apologized in Hebrew for his previous antics: according to rumors, it was Bianca who forced him to do this, who does not like the fact that scandals put their family in danger. However, Censori is unlikely to be with him for long: it became known earlier that he was persuading her to give birth to a child and sending her for IVF.
