Vin Diesel's former assistant accused him of sexual harassment
The star of the films "Fast and Furious" Vin Diesel was accused of sexual harassment by his former assistant Asta Jonsson. This was reported by Deadline.
According to the assistant, the incident occurred in 2010 during the filming of the fifth part of Fast and the Furious. The girl had to take the actor out of the St. Hotel room. Regis in Atlanta, unnoticed by the press, but Diesel attacked an assistant. "Vin Diesel touched her body, knelt down and lifted Miss Jonasson's dress, touched her legs and tried to pull off her underwear." The girl tried to hide in the bathroom, but she failed: the actor, according to her, pressed her against the wall and “masturbated in front of the girl, despite resistance,” after which he retreated to the bathroom himself. And the next day after this incident they called her and said that she was fired.
According to the girl’s lawyers, after this incident she felt confused and her self-esteem was undermined: she was not sure whether it was possible to build a further career “without selling her body.”
The girl demanded compensation from the actor, which would be “sufficient to deter similar incidents in the future.”
The actor himself categorically denies the accusations. His representative told reporters that the actor "is hearing about this more than 13-year-old incident," which was reported by an employee "who had been on the job for nine days." His lawyer added that there is clear evidence refuting the actor’s guilt.
