Jennifer Aniston will throw a "special party" for the cast of Friends to honor Matthew Perry
Jennifer Aniston is planning a 'special party' for his colleagues in the TV series "Friends". This was reported by an insider of the publication OK. There they will pay tribute to Matthew Perry, who died at the end of October at the age of 54.
“They had been planning for a long time to get together just the five of them so they could feel comfortable and say whatever was on their mind,” the insider says of Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.
"They will remember their favorite moments with Matt, share stories, laugh and cry. The funeral was a very sad event, but it was mainly for Matt's family and they held it back out of respect for them."
Jennifer Aniston previously spoke out about the death of Matthew Perry and stated that it was a period when the actor found harmony in life by giving up addictions. "He was healthy, quit smoking, got into shape. He was happy - that's all I know. I texted him that morning."
Matthew Perry died at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 55, his body was discovered in a jacuzzi by his assistant. No drugs were found at the scene of death.
The day before, however, the cause of the actor’s death became known: he died from the “acute effects of ketamine,” a drug that is used to treat depression and also as a recreational drug.
