Angelina Jolie spoke about the consequences of her divorce from Brad Pitt in a new interview with WSJ. According to the actress, her life has changed a lot. “Part of what happened after the divorce: I lost the opportunity to live and travel as freely. I'll move as soon as I can." She admitted that she would really like to live in Cambodia. 
The actress said that she doesn’t like Hollywood - it can’t be called “healthy” place. "I grew up in a pretty small place. Of all the places in the world, Hollywood is definitely not healthy." She added that she grew up next to him, so she never thought Hollywood was important or impressive. /img]
Angelina added that if today she had to choose a field of activity again, she would not choose an acting career: the actress does not like that she has to constantly share personal details of her life, and everyone’s attention is constantly focused on her. “When I first started, I didn’t expect to be so public and have to share so much.” Angelina was born into the family of actors Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand.
Jolie admitted that now she has almost no “social life”: she has few friends, and she communicates primarily with her children. In addition, among her close friends there are several refugees. “People who have gone through difficulties are much more honest and more sociable, and I feel more comfortable with them. Why do I like spending time with people who survived? They have encountered so much in life that it helps them gain not only strength, but also humanity.”
Jolie noted that she is now working on opening her store in New York, and admitted that she is going to give jobs to refugees, even if it is unprofitable for her. "I'll probably lose money, maybe even for a while. If I can eventually put into practice some of the things that I think will be improvements and just break even, that will be a huge win."
Jolie also mentioned the scandalous divorce from Brad Pitt, the proceedings for which lasted seven years. According to her, during this time she starred in only five films. Jolie met Brad Pitt in 2005, and they soon began dating. They got married in 2014, but in 2016 the actress filed for divorce after a serious argument on board a private jet.
