Rapper Basta (real name - Vasily Vakulenko - Ed.) had an accident after his concert on Krestovsky Island in St. Petersburg. This was reported by Mash on Moika.
According to the telegram channel, the accident occurred on December 2 at the exit from the Gazprom Arena stadium, where Basta performed. At about 22:30 on the South Road, the black Mercedes-Benz Maybach car in which the artist was driving flew off the side of the road into a snowdrift after a collision with another car.
The car's airbags deployed, and police and ambulance officers arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, there were no serious injuries in the collision.
According to Fontanka, the car the rapper was in was rented. Basta left the scene of the accident on foot. Representatives of the artist initially reported that they knew nothing about the accident. They later stated that the rapper was having dinner at a restaurant.
The Mash telegram channel clarified that Basta was in the back seat of the car during the accident; after the incident, he went towards the restaurant, and then drove away in another car. The musician was not seriously injured. He published a video message to fans on his social networks. “Peter, dear, low bow. Thanks to everyone who was at the concert today. Full Gazprom Arena, 65 thousand of us gathered. Thank you to everyone who was there today, sang and turned our meeting today into an unforgettable holiday,” said Basta.
Other participants in the accident, according to preliminary information, also did not receive serious injuries.
