New portrait of Prince George published in honor of his 9th birthday
A new portrait of Prince George has been posted on the official Instagram* of the Dukes of Cambridge in honor of his 9th birthday.
The photo, in which the boy is depicted in a blue polo and with a wide smile, was taken by Kate Middleton on one of the British beaches, where the Dukes of Cambridge rested with their children.
This year, Prince George is going to school in Ascot, which is close to Windsor Castle. The media also reported on the proposed relocation of the family: the Dukes of Cambridge are going to move to Berkshire, closer to the new school and the queen, who now lives in Windsor.
Earlier, Prince George was in the spotlight, visiting the Wimbledon tournament for the first time with his parents: the boy reacted emotionally to what was happening and got into the lenses of photographers.
Prior to that, all the attention was attracted by his younger brother, Prince Louis, who, during the celebration of the platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth, grimaced and could not sit still. As the royal family later commented, during the celebrations, the children ate a lot of sweets and therefore behaved restlessly.
