Gwyneth Paltrow Apple's daughter mocks Bachelorette Ball incident that left her branded "arrogant"
Gwyneth Paltrow's 20-year-old daughter Apple Martin has spoken out for the first time about the incident at the Debutante Ball, after which she was criticized for her bad manners and rude behavior towards one of the guests of the event.
In late December, Apple Martin appeared at a major social event in Paris in the company of her brother Moses, mother and father, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. However, not everyone liked the girl's behavior in the company of high society. The Internet noticed how in one of the videos Apple "forces out" a debutante girl from the photo zone. People were also outraged by how in another video Martin rolls his eyes in response to a remark from his companion, the young Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck.
Apple has not commented on the situation. But now her friend has posted a TikTok video* in which Martin joked about the incident. Apple parodied her disdainful look and eye roll behind the other girl's back. She also dubbed over a silent voiceover saying, "I don't understand how anyone could have a problem with me?" At another point, the phrase "we're so cute, we're the two funniest girls" is heard.
After the video from the Ball went viral, commentators accused Apple's parents of failing to teach their daughter good manners, calling the latter "nasty and arrogant." Some noted that Gwyneth Paltrow herself evokes negative emotions in them. At the same time, the 52-year-old actress did not react to the incident in any way, although she had previously praised her daughter's "sense of self-worth" in the press.
Later, the second participant in the video with Apple commented on what happened. Young Countess Eleanor Loppen de Montmort said that Martin is "the sweetest girl in the world" and does not deserve such criticism.
