"Someday Someone Might Get Even With Them." Three More People Accuse P. Diddy of Rape, Fear Reprisal From Rapper
Three more people have accused P. Diddy (real name Sean Combs) of rape, NBC News reports. The lawsuits, filed in New York State Supreme Court, say the crimes occurred between 2019 and 2022, and that the rapper allegedly drugged the alleged victims, as in previous cases.
According to the publication, the victims are men. One of the plaintiffs was a long-time employee of 55-year-old Combs. He said that the rapper raped him in a New York hotel after a business meeting, having previously given him an unknown drink. Now the victims are demanding compensation from P. Diddy. However, they are not disclosing their names due to fear of reprisals.
"They're afraid that one night, someone connected to him (P. Diddy. - Ed.) or hired by him might get even with them," said Thomas Giuffra, a lawyer representing the victims.
The new complaints come amid a wave of lawsuits filed against Combs in recent months. All of the plaintiffs are anonymous and accuse the rapper of assault and rape under similar circumstances dating back to the 1990s. Combs has been behind bars since September, accused of orchestrating a criminal scheme to sexually abuse and exploit women.
There are no other defendants in the court materials, but a conspiracy theory has previously spread online, according to which one of the most influential couples in Hollywood, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, may be involved in P. Diddy's crimes. The latter was recently accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at P. Diddy's famous "white party." At the same time, the singer herself was included in the list of the 100 most influential women in the world amid the scandal.
