Actress Eva Mendes posted archival photos with her husband Ryan Gosling on Instagram*. She shared stills from the old film "A Drunk Christmas Story," in which they starred together. "An oldie but a goodie," she wrote. 
The post evoked a lot of emotion from fans. "It's so beautiful to think that you had two daughters in the story and now you have two daughters in real life," "Please tell me you and Ryan will work together again someday," the fans wrote.
Earlier, she also showed a video of herself in a white dress that she had prepared for Christmas. "Of course, I won't look like this on Christmas. I'll look like a sleep-deprived elf with a bad backache who drinks straight from a coffee pot. But I have a dress just in case," she wrote. 
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling met in 2011 on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines and immediately began dating. They now have two daughters: nine-year-old Esmeralda and eight-year-old Amada. Eva herself left acting to take care of her family.
The Internet often discusses Eva Mendes' desire to give up publicity for the sake of her children and blames Ryan Gosling for this: allegedly, it is he who insists that his wife be a housewife. Eva previously stated that she wanted this herself, and she and her husband "non-verbally" discussed it.
