Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 18-year-old daughter Suri has received a large inheritance from her estranged father. After she turned 18, she gained access to a trust fund that her father had created, the DailyMail reports.

"She was able to access the money when she turned 18 in April. She will receive the rest of the money once she turns 30. The trust fund was set up so that she would not receive it all at once," the publication reported, citing a source. The amounts in question were not specified.

It is specified that Suri's mother Katie Holmes also created a similar fund. "Katie cares about her daughter's finances and, of course, her daughter's well-being. She wants her to be well provided for and have a high quality of life."

Suri has a bad relationship with her father Tom Cruise. After her divorce from Cruise in 2012, Katie Holmes received sole custody of her daughter, and Cruise, despite being given visitation rights, has not seen the child in all these years. Suri does not plan to communicate with her father after she comes of age. According to Mirror, Tom Cruise's daughter recently dropped his last name and now goes by the name Suri Noel. Noel is Katie Holmes' middle name.
