Meghan Markle attended the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Gala, which was held on October 5 at the JW Marriott LA Live.
At the event, the Duchess of Sussex appeared in a red Carolina Herrera dress, which she had already worn in 2021 at the gala concert in New York on the occasion of Veterans Day in the United States. This time, her look was complemented by heeled sandals in the same tone, a gold bracelet and several rings. Meghan left her hair loose.
The Duchess's look sparked heated debate online. Many internet users thought Meghan looked gorgeous, but some thought that such a bright dress with a deep neckline was not quite the right outfit for a charity event and a meeting with children who are patients at the clinic. "I expected to see a more modest dress for a charity event. This is not a nightclub party," wrote one netizen, and many agreed.
