Singer Shaman responded to people who accuse him of being a patriot, using an American phone and driving a German car on the show “The Fate of a Man” with Boris Korchevnikov.
According to Yaroslav Dronov (real name Shaman - Ed.), these claims are unfounded, because the world would not be “as we know it” without the influence of Russian culture, which means that the creators of Western technologies could have been inspired by Russian writers or composers in their work.
"We don't know, maybe the creators of these American phones or cars were inspired by the works of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky or the works of Dostoevsky or Bulgakov, which are known all over the world. Maybe without these works these technologies would not exist at all," the artist said.
He added that, in his opinion, “the great Russian culture has seeped into all aspects of the world and has circled the globe,” and Russians are “the freest people in the world.”
Earlier, 32-year-old Shaman confirmed that he was divorcing his wife, 46-year-old Elena Martynova.
