Meghan Markle Wears Designer Mini Dress With Prince Harry in Los Angeles
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, appeared at the George Seiffen charity tennis tournament in Los Angeles. It was organized by the Alliance for Children's Rights, which 43-year-old Meghan Markle and Prince Harry support through their Archiewell Foundation.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were joined by former model Kelly McKee Seiffen, her husband Julian and daughter Lily. It was Prince William's only public appearance to mark his anniversary, which he celebrated on September 15.
Meghan Markle wore a cream Giuliva Heritage sleeveless button-down mini dress, ankle strap heels and a caramel handbag. She left her hair loose and hid her eyes behind Rayban Aviator sunglasses. Prince Harry wore a white T-shirt, navy blazer, blue jeans and grey sneakers.
"What an incredible day! Full of emotion and so much love... Harry and Meghan, you have been such a guiding light for our family, not only in the way you have shown yourself as a friend, but also in the way you have shown yourself through the incredible work that the Archiewell Foundation does every day. I admire your commitment to community and friendship. On behalf of the Children's Rights Alliance, thank you. On behalf of our family, we love you," Kelly Seiffen wrote on Instagram*. She noted that the proceeds will go to support children in foster care. In addition, she publicly wished Prince Harry a happy birthday.
The Los Angeles tennis tournament is more than 20 years old. It was recently renamed in honor of Kelly and Julian Seiffen's son George, who died suddenly at age nine in 2022. Meghan Markle and Kelly Seiffen became friends in 2020, after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down from their royal duties and moved to the United States.
It should be noted that this year Prince Harry (for the first time after three years of public ignoring) was congratulated on his birthday by members of the royal family - his father King Charles III and brother Prince William.
