Monica Bellucci and Winona Ryder Support Tim Burton at the Unveiling of His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Director Tim Burton received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His 59-year-old girlfriend Monica Bellucci and the actors from the Beetlejuice sequel Beetlejuice Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito came to support the 66-year-old horror legend.
The celebrities took a group photo on Hollywood Boulevard next to Burton's star, and Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, who starred in the first Beetlejuice in 1988, said a few words in support of the director.
"When I met you, I was a weird kid... You make it not only okay to be weird, but it's fun and even cool," abc7 quotes Winona Ryder as saying.
Tim Burton has written, directed and produced many iconic films in various genres. He has two parts of "Batman" with Michael Keaton, "Edward Scissorhands", "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", "Dark Shadows" and other films with Johnny Depp, the series "Wednesday" with Jenna Ortega, recognizable cartoons: "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Corpse Bride" and other projects.
Burton's personal life has always been no less eventful than his career. The director was married to artist Lena Giesecke from 1987 to 1991. Since 1992, he dated and was engaged to dancer and later his muse Lisa Marie. They broke up in 2001 due to Tim's affair with Helena Bonham Carter. The actress and director were together until 2014. They had two children: son Billy and daughter Nell. Since 2022, Burton has been dating Monica Bellucci.
