Billionaire Mike Lynch and his daughter Hannah found dead after 'suspicious' yacht crash
British multimillionaire Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah did not survive a yacht crash in the Mediterranean Sea: today their bodies were found by divers inside the sunken yacht off the coast of Sicily. This was reported by the British newspaper The Telegraph, citing the director of the Sicilian Civil Defense Department, Salvo Coccina, and then other media outlets spread this information.
The bodies of the other four missing people have not yet been found: Morgan Stanley International chairman Jonathan Bloomer, Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo and their wives are still missing.
Let us recall that the sailing superyacht Bayesian, owned by the family of British tech magnate Mike Lynch, sank off the coast of Sicily during a hurricane with a tornado on the night of August 19. At the time of the sinking, there were 22 people on board, 15 of whom were saved, six were missing. Lynch's wife Angela Baraques was seriously injured, but survived. Officially, only one person was considered dead to this day - chef Recaldo Thomas.
Soon after the incident, "suspicious" details from Lynch's life began to be discussed online, which led many to think that the yacht crash was staged. The fact is that on the night of the tragedy, Lynch's victory in a fraud case, in which he was a defendant, was celebrated on the yacht. The trial lasted six years, and a month ago, Lynch was completely acquitted. Everyone present on the yacht, with the exception of the staff, was somehow connected to this case. In addition, the day before the crash, Lynch's business partner was killed under the wheels of a car. However, the authorities are not yet considering the human factor, and the official version of what happened remains unfavorable weather conditions.
