Cardi B Announces Pregnancy and Divorce in One Post
Cardi B has revealed she is pregnant and announced her divorce. The 31-year-old rapper did so by posting on Instagram*, in which she showed off her rounded belly.
In the caption to the photo, she announced her divorce from rapper Offset: "With every ending comes a new beginning. I love you and can't wait for you to see what you've helped me through. It's so much easier to take life's twists and turns when you and your brother and sister show me what it's all for."
Let's recall that Cardi B married Offset in 2018, a few months after they started dating. The couple has repeatedly announced their separation: according to rumors, due to the rapper's infidelity, but it has never come to divorce before. The couple has two children: six-year-old Calce Kiari Cephas and two-year-old Wave Seth Cephas.
Last December, Cardi B broke down in tears while talking about her husband during a live broadcast. She said that she was sitting at home while Offset celebrated his birthday at a party attended by many celebrities: the musician turned 32 on December 14. She also published a post in which she threatened to tell the truth about their relationship: "Trust me, I will make this public! Motherfuckers test you when you're at your lowest, at your most vulnerable. Right now you're enjoying life, but trust me, we will switch places."
