Kate Middleton Attends Wimbledon Final With Princess Charlotte
Kate Middleton appeared in public for the first time in a long time. She attended the Wimbledon final with her daughter Charlotte.
The Princess of Wales arrived on Centre Court at the All England Lawn Tennis Club wearing a purple Safiyaa's Cecilia dress, beige pointed-toe sandals and a beige handbag. Charlotte wore a blue polka dot dress and white ballet flats.
The stands greeted the princess with a standing ovation, and many spectators of the tournament rose from their seats.
The fact is that Kate has been virtually out of public view lately due to her health – in March it was revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer. The princess’s sudden disappearance from the radar gave rise to numerous conspiracy theories. Some claimed that Kate had fled the palace after catching her husband cheating, others that she had undergone plastic surgery or had even died and was being carefully hidden from the public. However, in mid-June, Prince William’s wife dispelled at least some of these rumors by appearing at the Trooping the Colour parade.
Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spaniard Lorenzo Musetti will face off in the Wimbledon final today. The Princess of Wales will present the trophy to the winner after the match.
