Kim Kardashian Reveals She Had Salmon Sperm Injections to Look Younger
Kim Kardashian, in one of the latest episodes of the family reality show, told about an unusual beauty procedure: salmon sperm was injected into her face. This procedure is designed to give the skin a glow, it also has a moisturizing and rejuvenating effect.
The procedure, of course, does not use salmon sperm itself, but rather the DNA obtained from it, which is called polydeoxyribonucleotide, or PDRN.
"I had a facial with salmon sperm injections," Kim said, noting that she hasn't seen any results yet. Her loved ones, especially her mother Kris Jenner, were very surprised by this revelation.
Kim, 43, is not the first star to have undergone this procedure: Jennifer Aniston spoke about it last year. According to the 55-year-old star of the series "Friends", she was most interested in the question of how exactly producers obtain salmon sperm. Interestingly, Aniston also did not notice any special effect from this procedure.
Kim Kardashian has used controversial beauty tricks before. For example, in 2013, she got a "vampire mask": her plasma was taken, enriched with platelets, microdermabrasion was done, and a "bloody" mask was applied to her face. This procedure was a replacement for plasma lifting, which Kim could not do at the time because she was pregnant. Two years ago, Kim lost seven kilograms in three weeks with the help of grueling workouts and the drug "Ozempic" in order to wear Marilyn Monroe's dress to the Met Gala.
The reality TV star has previously admitted that she is willing to do anything to look better. "If someone told me I had to eat crap every day to look younger, I would do it," Kim said.
