Ben Affleck spoke about his attitude to the popularity of his wife Jennifer Lopez on Kevin Hart's talk show "Heart to Heart" and also spoke about his eternally dissatisfied facial expression in public, which has become a meme.
The 51-year-old actor says his wife turns heads wherever she goes. "She's so famous. People love her, she really represents something," he said. He notes that people don't react that way to him. "I've had people say, 'Hey, I love your movie.' And then they're like, 'Oh, J.Lo! That's amazing.'"
He recalled the time they had to walk through Times Square. "We're getting out of the car, getting ready for a play, and I'm like, 'Holy crap, baby, we're going to be late, we're going to walk a block and a half.' She's like, 'Okay.'" They were walking down the street with all their kids, and a woman who was jogging, according to Ben, started running backwards and screaming "J. Lo." Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have five children together, though they don't have any together. The actor has 18-year-old daughter Violet, 15-year-old daughter Seraphina, and 12-year-old son Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has 16-year-old twins Max and Emma with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
He says the disgruntled expression he often wears in public is due to simple shyness. "I don't like too much attention. That's why people see me and say, 'Why is this guy always disgruntled?' Because someone put a camera right in my face and I'm like, 'Okay, here we go.'"
Ben said nothing about the problems in his marriage that have been rumoured lately.
In May, it became known that Lopez and Affleck no longer lived together, and rumors began to spread online that they were on the verge of divorce. They also put their family mansion up for sale. At the same time, they continue to do everything to save their relationship. The stars are periodically seen together, and Jennifer recently congratulated Ben on Father's Day on Instagram*. 
Recently, there were reports online that Ben had started drinking again due to problems. He had problems with alcohol before, in his previous marriage. Thus, the actor said in an interview that he started drinking precisely due to problems in his marriage with his ex-wife, because he was unhappy with Garner. The actor was heavily criticized for these words, and he had to justify himself.
