"This was supposed to be her time." Beyoncé 'disappeared' after new album release
Beyoncé suddenly dropped off the radar shortly after releasing her new album, Cowboy Carter, and is doing little or no promotion for it. According to insider PageSix, this is due to the high-profile scandals surrounding rapper P. Diddy, who is accused of rape, physical violence and human trafficking. The source clarifies that Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z, who were friends with him, therefore decided not to attract too much attention to themselves.
"This should have been Beyoncé's time, with her highly anticipated country album released just two months ago. And yet she's nowhere to be seen. The album is losing steam and J and B aren't enjoying the spotlight," says the insider.
The source recalls that Jay Z so wanted his wife to receive a Grammy for the best album that he again recalled this at the last ceremony: not for the first time. "About a month before the release, Jay Z stood up at the Grammys and complained that Beyoncé had never won Album of the Year. But now what? Does he think she'll win with Cowboy Carter without promotion?"
"Something is happening. The album came out with a bang, No. 1 everywhere. And now he and she have disappeared," the insider added.
Jay Z has been friends with the size of P Diddy for several decades. At the same time, as Western tabloids note, there are no claims that could be brought against Jay Z and Beyoncé in the Sean Combs case. Representatives of the couple refused to comment on this situation to reporters.
Beyonce is not the only industry representative who is worried about the scandals surrounding P. Diddy: insiders previously reported that his former lover Jennifer Lopez is upset and depressed because of this situation.
