Kanye West's muse and trend setter: analyzing the Bianca Censori phenomenon
Over the past year, not a day has passed without discussing each new release of Kanye West's wife Bianca Censori. Some users are indignant at the immodest outfits of the rapper’s wife, while others wonder whether the girl is being “hostage” by her husband, who allegedly “forces” her to be naked in public. Before marriage
Bianca Censori was born in Australia in 1995, where she grew up with her parents and two sisters. After graduating from high school, Bianca created a jewelry brand, Nylons Jewerelly, which lasted four years. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in architecture from the University of Melbourne and worked for a local architectural firm. In 2020, Censori moved to Los Angeles and was hired by Kanye West's Yeezy brand, where she rose to the position of head of architectural design. Bianca's ex-boyfriend Nick Forgain, who dated her for six years, said that since she was a teenager, Censori dreamed of becoming a famous architect and moving to live in the USA. The relationship between Bianca Censori and Kanye West became known in 2022, but it is difficult to say when exactly they started dating. Two months after his official divorce from Kim Kardashian, in January 2023, West secretly married his employee. Around the same time, she radically changed her image, becoming a blonde with a short haircut.
After Kanye and Bianca’s first joint appearances, people started talking about her as the rapper’s “doll.” Allegedly, the artist holds the girl “hostage” and “forces” her to wear a plastic cape over her naked body or a fully enclosed nylon jumpsuit.
But for West, Bianca became not only his wife, but also his muse. He more than once publicly confessed his love to Censori, published her pictures on Instagram*, and thanked her for the freedom and support that she gives. The rapper placed a photo of his wife on the cover of his new album Vultures and dedicated the song Censori Overload to her with the words “Temptation at just one glance. I forgot what fear is...”. And some users call the spouses a modern version of the artist Salvador Dali and his muse Gala, where the wife inspires the artist to create and enjoys his success. 
When going out together, Kanye most often appears in completely covered looks and stays behind, leaving all the public attention for his wife. It’s as if he is her shadow, and she is like a blank “canvas” on which he “creates” something new every time. Precisely because Kanye West’s signature as a designer and stylist is clearly visible in Bianca’s images (he dressed Kim Kardashian and his other exes), many decided that his wife’s appearance was solely his fantasy. And there is logic in this, because much of what Bianca wears today, West showed in Yeezy collections almost 10 years ago. 
Bianca’s images really look impressive, but behind them lies not only the opinion of her husband, but also the stylist and photographer Ghadir Rajab, with whom Censori collaborated even before meeting Kanye. He styles and selects models for Yeezy and often posts his experiments on Bianca's style on Instagram*. The “tighty aesthetic” with which Censori is associated today is partly his work.
The Censori team doesn’t just create shocking images, as it might seem at first glance, but comes up with unique features and works with the archives of respected brands. For example, last summer Bianca often went out in a nylon turban or barefoot. She recently appeared in Maison Margiela shoes from the 1996 collection, which consist of a sole and are attached to the foot with tape.
A black dress with a “circle” from the 2008 Maison Margiela collection, in which Censori went to Sunday service, a top with the word “WET” from Yeezy x Mowalola, a “triangular” bodysuit, micro thongs, a fur coat over a naked body and much more also went viral. And, of course, Wolford brand tights in different interpretations. From these, at the Yeezy factory in Italy, products for Bianca are created in an accelerated manner. One outfit can only take a couple of hours or minutes, and Censori herself, as the design team says, will never wear something she doesn’t like.
Power Couple
As you know, everything Kanye West does becomes a trend, and paired outings with his wife are no exception. Bianca’s “naked” images were picked up not only by celebrities, including Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Doja Cat, but also by fashion designers. Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello showed a nylon collection at the recent Paris Fashion Week, where models wore sheer items and turban-shaped tights wrapped around their heads. And Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon quoted Kanye and Bianca's appearance with a Halloween pillow.
There is another speculation about the phenomenal appearance of Bianca Censori next to the controversial rapper - and this is a carefully planned PR move from Ye's team. Allegedly, a young wife with a beautiful body becomes a striking object of attention in order to promote the artist’s new album and even restore his reputation after a series of scandals and “cancellations.” 
Despite the rumors, we are sure that West has a say in choosing looks for his wife, but it is difficult to believe that Bianca goes out without underwear against her will. One thing is for sure - the couple shares a passion for fashion.
